What are they ? Bird Balls® are 100mm diameter UV stabilised black hollow plastic balls, manufactured in High Density Polyethylene. The balls float on the surface of a liquid, automatically arranging themselves into a close packed formation to completely cover the liquid surface.

Water Filled Bird Balls
In locations that experience higher than average wind speeds, our heavier water filled Bird Balls are recommended. The ball weight is 240g (compared to a 40g standard air filled Bird Ball) and provides extra stability at wind speeds in excess of 45 kph (28 mph).
